COMMON PROBLEMS

VIDEO MANUAL

  • Trackers not connecting to the app
    1. Connection & Network USB Connection: Connect your trackers to a USB 3.0 port on your PC to ensure high-speed and stable data transfer. Wi-Fi Requirements: Use a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network — some trackers are incompatible with 5 GHz. Ensure your Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password contain only letters (A-Z, a-z), with no spaces or special characters. Alternative Network: If possible, try connecting to a different Wi-Fi network available in your home. 2. Security Settings Firewall & Antivirus: Temporarily disable Windows Firewall and any antivirus software to check if they're preventing the connection. 3. Alternative Method (Workaround) Create a Hotspot: Set up a Wi-Fi hotspot directly from your PC using a new network name and password. Connect your trackers to this new hotspot and retry the connection via the app. 4. Still Not Working? If none of the above steps resolve the issue, please contact our technical support team for further assistance. ⚡ Extra Tips: Restart both your computer and trackers. Ensure the app is updated to the latest version. Try connecting the trackers to another PC to isolate the issue.
  • High Ping? Tips to Improve your Connection!
    1. Optimal Positioning: Position the Wi-Fi router close to your computer and the Zeni (tracker) to ensure the best signal quality. 2. Reset: Restart your computer, internet, and application to resolve temporary connection issues. Reset your Wi-Fi 3. Cache Clearing: Clear the Wi-Fi cache on your device to remove corrupted data that may be affecting the connection. 4. Workaround: Connect the computer and Tracker to the network via an Ethernet cable to obtain a more stable connection with lower ping. 5. Support: If the problem persists after trying the solutions above, contact technical support for expert help. 6. Router Positioning: Position the router in a central and elevated location, away from walls, furniture and metal objects that could interfere with the signal. Avoid placing the router in areas with many electronic devices, such as microwaves or ovens. Firmware update: Make sure your router's firmware is up to date for best performance and security. 7. Router Settings: Change the router channel to a less congested one. Use WPA2 encryption to secure your Wi-Fi network. Disable WPS if not used. 8. Signal Repeater: Use a signal repeater to extend the range of your Wi-Fi network in areas with weak signal. 9. Software to Improve Wi-Fi: NetSpot: Analyzes and optimizes the Wi-Fi network, mapping signal coverage and identifying congested channels. WiFi Analyzer: Shows the Wi-Fi networks around you and their respective channels, helping you choose the least congested channel. Acrylic Wi-Fi Home: Monitors Wi-Fi signal quality and provides detailed information about networks around you. inSSIDer: Advanced tool for analyzing Wi-Fi networks, ideal for experienced users. Extra Tips: Check for other devices connected to the network that may be consuming bandwidth. Disable background programs or services that may be using the internet. Update your computer's network drivers. Change the channel on your Wi-Fi router to avoid interference. I hope these tips help reduce ping and improve your user experience!
